[ZRH] Storage Cluster Upgrade

CloudSigma would like to inform you that the planned maintenance of our storage cluster, in the Zurich cloud location, was completed successfully. During the maintenance, we enabled a new feature in our storage cluster, that will allow us to expand its capacity and improve its reliability.

IMPACT:
As reported throughout the preparations for the maintenance we faced an unexpected problem and some drives went into an Unavailable state for about 15 minutes. There was no impact on the drive and I/O operations during the problem, it affected only drive-related API operations. Besides that, there was no impact on running virtual machines, hosts, private network accessibility and/or any other running services.

While it is important for CloudSigma to perform maintenance such as this to ensure the quality of our services, we do everything possible to minimize any inconvenience for our customers. We appreciate your patience and welcome any feedback.

During the preparations for the maintenance, we faced an unexpected problem and the drives went into Unavailable state. There is no impact on the drive performance, but you may experience issues with attaching, deleting and cloning drives.

Our system administrators are working on the issue and will provide with an update as soon as possible. Please excuse us for the inconvenience.

The maintenance aims to enable a new feature in our storage cluster, that will allow us to expand its capacity and improve its reliability. All scheduled tasks are expected to take 1 hour in total.

IMPACT:
We expect no service impact on any of the provided by us services.
